Cwmul is situated within the beautiful county of Ceredigion, which is at the heart of Welsh pony and cob country. The farm dates back to 1769 and is set in its own valley, enjoying the peace, tranquillity and shelter of the surrounding countryside, making it an ideal location for breeding quality foals. Our aim is to breed quality Welsh ponies of cob type Section C.
Having sourced quality old-fashioned type mares with some of the best bloodlines and generations of section C breeding, we have ponies with good confirmation, bone and feather, whilst maintaining the beautiful Welsh pony's characteristic heads.
Our ponies are all very well handled and bred for good temperament, whilst retaining their spirit, flair and showiness.
We have successfully sold home bred colts which have proved themselves as stallions, and geldings as ride and drive ponies.
Their new owners have kept in touch and we have been delighted to see their progress.
